Nice. My LMT prefers Hornady 168gr A-Max. It is a 16"SS barrel with mid length gas. It shoots Federal GMM well but is more consistently tighter with the A-Max. I also had great results with 165gr Noslers.

Prices range from .70/round for 168gr AMax from Steve at Freedom Ammunition (not Freedom Munitions) to $1.50/rd for the 165gr Nosler. His shipping is sometimes a little slow but I have always had excellent results from Steve's ammunition. I get better results from his loads than from factory Hornady.

It sounds like you're referring to the Hornady load with their Amax bullet? I do like the price.
