Think Avatar
« on: June 03, 2013, 08:51:19 AM »
There are a lot of folks who have not uploaded an Avatar as of this writing. If you are one of those folks who are Avatarless; it would be great to work on uploading one this week.

Thanks folks!

Great question V0dka!

If you don't want to upload an avatar that's up to you. My main two reasons are: Marketing and setting an expectation for new people.

Hopefully, someone checking out the site will see a 99% completed product and part of that is avatars. When a new member see's a senior member like you V0dka, has an avatar, they will do it too. There we are back to that 99% completed product again.

Great question

Just think of me as your nagging Mom for a moment...

Some of you who have been around for awhile have not uploaded an avatar as yet. APX even went and did a YT vid to show you less then web savvy (Like me) folks how to do it.

So CLEAN YOUR ROOM whoops (Flash back) upload an avatar before V0dka or Special-K does it for you ;)

PS: The NSA has informed me who you are...

Pretty sure we're not all here because we're good at being compliant.  So much for the "unchained" part, I guess we're down to just "preppers".  New tag-line: "You've free yourselves from the chains, now put them back on, please" :whip:

I'm sure the NSA has more important things to worry about, like where in Hong Kong is enemy of the state #1, but I'll see what I can do about an avatar soon-- I'm debating between a Greenpeace or A.C.O.R.N. symbol

That is a nice tutorial you made, APX.  JM's right, impressive English and an accent that would drive the ladies wild here in the U.S. ;)

For the ones that didn't saw it, thatGirl had set up a 50s pinup girl as avatar and as soon as we asked the members to set up an avatar she removed it, just to show the world that no one tells her what to do.

I think we need to unleash SpecialK fury and allow him to start assigning Obama midgets as avatars  :dancingBanana:

I didn't realize anyone noticed that...  Yep, I pick nothing but the least significant battles to fight, and sometimes I even win one ;)

Kinda figured once JM got everyone whipped into shape with cool avatars to woo the masses, the default avatar would be up for grabs-- unique, undefined and mysterious for the unruly thatGirl  :))
