World War One era M1910 hand axe for a whopping price of $2. Handle has seen better days and the axe head is on upside down, but been looking for a handy little hatchet.

Does that have any resale value?
There's got to be some old guy with a thing for WWI antiques in his study.

I figure in it's current condition, the value is about $50. The handle and axe head are both undated, 'U.S.' marked. I'm going to lightly clean it up, and figure out how to put the head on the correct way. Might become a wall-hanger, or just keep on using as it is suppose to be used.

wow 50... that's a better ROI then mine.

And somebody needs to wag their finger at the idiot who put that head on.

From the looks, it was mounted upside down yonks ago and several nails driven in the eye, and bent over. But for the price, I'm not complaining.

Maybe the head was put on upside down to work better as a throwing axe??  I dunno...just shit-balling the idea.  :-\

I scored 3 IFAK with CAT tourniquets, one spare CAT tourniquet and 5 combat gauze for $35. Those tourniquets alone are $25 each. Dude had a big ass box full. Everything was brand new.

I don't always yard sale, but when I do, I prefer amazing deals. lol he lives 3 doors down too, military dude. He has shit loads of nuclear fallout crap too. Filters, water testers, suits in vacuum sealed packages etc...

Now ive got an IFAK for the car and I molle'd one to my bigger non combat first aid bag. Im going to give the spare tourniquet to my buddy who currently has what I would imagine dora the explorer to have in her IFAK.
