The Consumer Price Index (CPI) for August was supposed to be out at 0830 hrs. eastern today. As of this typing the report is still not out.
The forecast, year over year CPI (using 2018 CPI formula) will be 5.4%.
With the delayed release of the CPI, the market is down this morning. I wonder if someone has received a prerelease report? Stay tuned...
