First I've heard of this. Presented for your information and entertainment purposes only.

Quote
The Citadel is a developing community of Patriots in the mountains of Idaho who believe in Jefferson's Rightful Liberty and have chosen to live amongst one another, who have sworn their Lives, their Fortunes and their Sacred Honor to defend one another and Liberty.

Good idea in concept, but for some reason this rubs me.wrong.

Seems a little too cultish.

I like the idea but the defenses are weak.

Mortars followed by several Apaches and then ground troops could topple the defenses pretty easily. Of course I would assume "they" know this and I would hope they have a plan.

Unfortunately it seems either they are going more for the "Lights Out" scenario of living without the government involved in SHTF where they have to defend against MZBs or someone played too much Age of Empires one day and drank too much coffee while lol.  Castles back in the day could either be a saving grace or a tomb, and the situation seems to be the same here.  Of course there are also, hopefully, things that would be in place that they are not showing to the public.  Either way, a Spectre above would make for a really bad day... lol

I don't think they could hold off the military no matter what. But I do think they could hold off the zombies and the like pretty much. [img]http://www.smileydesign.n

OONW I thought your post was GREAT!

Hey TG, I thought the EXACT same thing! Or worst Ruby Ridge. Shooting a mother while holding her baby was DISGRACEFUL!

Sorry, but I get emotional over both examples of our government reaching beyond their legal limits.

A: TG has the best line of thought out of everyone so far

B: I've looked into these guys before... the blogger that is behind it has always upheld a truly solid blog

C: it's either extremely short-sighted and childishly ignorant (as TG suggests), or theres something more sinister behind it. either way, it won't be a viable option for anyone with a good heard and a strong brain.

what was that about a guerrilla force defending a fixed position?.... [img]http://www.arrse.co.uk/at
