« on: January 20, 2019, 04:43:37 PM »
Its probably going to be cold, but that should make a clearer sky.  This Wolf Moon (Jan Full Moon) is going to be a Super Moon and Blood Moon also.

Its gunna be a humdinger!  Get out and watch a bit.

I'd invite you to my yard but I have to go lobbying with the state guv tomorrow so you lose out this year.

If you need a second magazine, its time to call in air support.

God created Man, Col. Sam Colt made him equal, John Moses Browning turned equality to perfection, Gaston Glock turned perfection into plastic fantastic junk.

Was looking forward to it, but too much cloud cover and temps approaching 0 make it a non-starter here in Southern VT.
Enjoy!

Yeah, it's -7 here already, it's going to be a cold night.

I was at my computer and a couple of guys were chatting on the digital repeater and one of them mentioned the Lunar eclipse. I ran outside and caught it just the right moment. Then I ran back inside and told the wife to put her coat on and come out and see it before it was over. It was about 28 degrees at midnight but we were able to watch it for a few minutes before the cold ran us back inside.

I broke myself away from the Patriots, Chiefs game and went outside to take a peak. Clouds got in the way.

Jackalope, I was thinking of you this morning when I got up and took a gander at the thermometer this morning - It read, -6 degrees. You are usually 10 degrees colder than we so you must have been close to -16. Burrrrrr!

Yes, it was -16 until almost 9 a.m.  The noon reading is -12 F, so I don't thinking it's going to get above -10 today.  Tonight's forecast is calling for a low of -21.  I hope this is our only cold spell for the winter.
