Just wanted to check in, let you all know I'm still alive. Miss everybody. I check in periodically to read up on the latest posts, but I don't have time for much. Work, part-time college, working out marital issues, caring for a little girl and a toddler...I've got my plate full. I SHOULD graduate next semester (all the above stuff, except going to college FULL time - ouch), so after May I will be able to relax more and chill with y'all.
TG, sorry about that call a while back. I asked you to call me, you did, and I had something family-related come up and just couldn't get back to you. Apologies, no disrespect intended. Mrs. TG, welcome!!! JMac, you still didn't tell me how big your tips working as a waitress should be, bro. Can't do you justice if you don't tell me.
I keep meeting more and more people, related to me and not related, who are "waking up" and prepping. It's all the same thing: "Don't know what, but something's coming." Keeping an ear out for anything useful for everybody, especially us Georgia boys (looking at you, EJR and GAP).
Everyone take care, til next time!

Thanks for checking in, no worries though I understand that life won't wait.
Be safe and keep your powder dry.

Rah, forget what this was in reference too. [img]http://www.arrse.co.uk/at
If it is this, then...My tip structure for different things is:
Waitperson - OK Service 15% of bill (Not total that has tax) 20% if the waitperson was personable and actually cared. 5%- each
waitperson mistake (Not kitchen mistake). For example; bill came and no offer for more coffee or after dinner drink.
Or worse, bill comes and no offer for desert, coffee, etc. Automatic -5%!
Taxi Driver - 10% of fare unless they went over and above. For example: you are in NYC and there is 12" of snow on the ground.
You have waited 20 minutes trying to get a cab for Penn Station and your train is leaving in 60 minutes. Hold a $20-
bill up when you are hailing a cab. Works every time. :))
Bar Tender - Similar to waitperson however just for drinks starts at 10% Vs. 15%. Now if I order apps or other food the
waitperson rules apply.
Bell Boy - $5- per bag to my room
Sky Cap - $5- per bag
Free Booze - Like at a wedding or at the Delta Crown room at the airport; $1- per drink.
Now Holiday gifts:
Newspaper person - $25-
Hair dresser - $50-
Cat Sitter - $50- Plus cookies
Mail Man - Cookies
Trash Guy - 2, 12 packs of Bud or Miller beer, which ever is on sale :))
Rah, I hope that is what you were looking for.
