Pennsylvania is a very pretty state. One of my favorite movies is Witness - Not for the story line but the scenery in South Central PA.
Well this morning the temp was 7 degrees at the cabin in old PA. As I type it is 13 out and 70 degrees inside. It is blowing a steady 12 MPH however we have had some gusts in the 20-23 MPH range. NOAA is calling for gusts in the 30-35 MPH range this evening. Supposed to go down to 0-5 tonight/tomorrow morning.
We have been getting bands of lake affect snow almost everyday for the past three. This is supposed to continue until Sunday. So in essence we get 1-2" of snow a day. Friday/Saturday we are supposed to get real snow. They are not stating the amount as yet.
Here is a picture looking south from our living room. We look out on a ridge that is about a mile south of us. The clearing below is a meadow the farmers steer use in the spring/summer for grazing. In the meadow you might be able to make out our shooting berm.
When this is all over, I am going to do a write-up of the good, bad and ugly at the cabin this winter. Karen and I have both learned allot! All good stuff.
