South Africa and Firearms
« on: March 17, 2018, 12:28:30 PM »
With South America going the way of Zimbabwe, I am sure many native South Africans are regretting their decision to a) register their firearms in 2000 and/or b) allow confiscation of non-legal weapons.

With the ongoing gun debate here in the States, it is important to see how well gun control has worked in other countries like:

USSR (1920's),
Germany (1930's),
China (1950's),
Vietnam (1970's),
Warsaw countries during Nazi occupation (1940-44),
among others and of course South Africa (2000) the reason for this post.

To learn more on South African Firearms Control Act 60 of 2000 go here.

I almost wish I had some to not register.  Really hated (and I mean really really hated) having to sell some of my old reliables.

If you need a second magazine, its time to call in air support.

God created Man, Col. Sam Colt made him equal, John Moses Browning turned equality to perfection, Gaston Glock turned perfection into plastic fantastic junk.

Yes, what are these firearms of which you're speaking?
