Thanks, Everyone.
I have most of my stuff moved in, I've been off-line the past few days because I haven't had my internets hooked up.
I had some plain black storage footlockers at the house, I tossed my Armor, Helmets, Radios, Belts and other kit type Gear in
one and in the other I stashed Mags, some Ammo and a few choice Guns. I opted to keep it small and brought a 5.45 Russian Krink and a 9in. AR in .300BLK. Those fit nicely in the footlockers and the Krink can fold and fit in to most any type of backpack.
I also went to Whole Foods and got their hippie shopping bags, those can transport well too.
I'm still debating on how much stuff I really need here at this location, as far as preps go. I've got Meat, Rice, Beans, and Instant Mashed Potatoes- (6) #10 cans of each. I grabbed a few extra cans for veggies from the store too and will continue to stock up on the small stuff with each weeks grocery shopping. I'll get some extra, more perishable soups/ravioli type stuff too.
I don't think I'd want to hold up here longer than a few weeks, if even that. I think minimal food and ammo here is a good thing.
I need to work on Water at this location. I have plenty of bottled water and there is A LOT of natural water in the area and I have filtration but who knows if that will be an option. My main location is several miles away and I'd be better off keeping the majority there.
I haven't done much as far as surveying the area or the people in it. I know who my direct neighbor is, the one I share a wall with. She does not appear to be a threat of any kind. The area is pretty quiet, but I have only been there a few days. I did notice some Police activity this morning, but I didn't stick around to find out what was up.
I have a K-9 not a "dog" or a "pet", I have a K-9. My dog will (and has proven it) not allow ANYONE to mess with my shit.
He does a bark and hold if you enter the dwelling or even the property line at my old place. You try and run or strike and at that point it's fair game. I've made sure he can and does this without needing a command or direction. Don't get me wrong, I can easily dispatch a K-9 by hand or with a firearm, but he's certainly a viable deterrent.
