What does the vid say?

In short, it's calling upon all "oath takers" (military or anyone who has taken the oath to protect the constitution from enemies foreign and domestic such as yourself or I) to "perform our duty to recognize the threat and implore tactics and strategies to prevent this enemy of advancing."

I'm right behind you, literally right behind you. Using your body for cover.

What a jackass. Who advocates for armed rebellion? What is this the 1765?

TG,

People are very frustrated with the direction our country is going, hence the talk about rebellion. Well dahhhhh! Right?

Just for kicks and giggles I did a search and here is a partial list of rebellions during the history of the USA:

Anti-Rent War                     Bacon's Rebellion                    Black Boys
Cary's Rebellion                   Cienega Affair                        Coode's Rebellion
Dorr Rebellion                     Fries's Rebellion                     Green Corn Rebellion
Jaybird-Woodpecker War       Jayuya Uprising                      Kirk-Holden war
Las Vegas Affair                  Leisler's Rebellion                   McMinn County War(1946)
Nat Turner's slave rebellion   Nationalist attack of San Juan  Paxton Boys
Pennsylvania Mutiny of 1783  Pueblo Revolt                        Shays' Rebellion
Red River Canyon Affair         Republic of Indian Stream       Revolt of 1837 (New Mexico)
Second Battle of Mora           Utuado Uprising                     Battle of Alamance
War of the Regulation           John West (colonel)               Whiskey Rebellion
American Civil War               Wounded Knee incident          1811 German Coast Uprising

I am sure that Crystal or Sledge can add to this list.

With that said, we are heading for "some kind" of rebellion. I pray that it is a rebellion done in a voting booth rather then with firearms. Who knows it might be both.

In retrospect I suspect we Will see some armed conflicts as we lead up to the US Presidential elections. It might be the Black Panthers. It might be right leaning local militias. We will have to see.

I will say though, if one of my close friends or family are arrested without a warrant or due process- There will be hell to pay when I am done. That is NOT bold talk from an old fat man, just the truth. Heck, I am unemployed, I got nothing else to do.

What you guys do privately is all well and good but to advocate such a thing to people that look to you for advise is negligent and shows a lack of consideration for you audience.

You won't find that kind of talk here at StraightPrep.com, not from me at least.

I've heard of Arctic Patriot before, quite awhile back.  I think he's one of the more extreme militia guys, does anyone know?

As for as the detainment law, I don't like it.  But I think we should see how it's applied before we rush to judgement.  Kind of like when the American citizen (dual citizen) was killed by drone in Yemen.  To me, once he started preaching killing American citizens he lost his citizenship and was fair game.

My understanding is that the language that allowed for the detainment of American Citezens wasn't in the amended bill that was passed. Rah will be able to provide more information as to what section that language takes place for anyone who would like to read the actual bill.

How are we advocating this?

This is just one more piece of information being passed along. And if you ask me, I'm glad someone brought this to our attention.  A declaration of war takes some balls and is something that shouldn't be taken lightly, and I agree with Sledge when he said...

Here's a bill introduced on the 15th by Senator Diane Feinstein (D-Calif).  People on the left and right are scared of the NDAA.  Look at the sponsers.

The Due Process Guarantee Act of 2011 is co-sponsored by Senators Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.), Mike Lee (R-Utah), Mark Udall (D-Colo.), Mark Kirk (R-Ill.), Rand Paul (R-Ky.), Chris Coons (D-Del.), Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.), Bill Nelson (D-Fla.), Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.), Al Franken (D-Minn.), Tom Udall (D-N.M.) and Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.).

I would like to add one last comment to this post before I move on.

I am a true believer of the use of the pen and ballot before the use of bullets is employed. I do not feel that we are anywhere near the use of bullets however. Throwing tomatoes maybe but not bullets.

Many of my posts in the past have requested you contact your US & or State Congressional Representatives and I still feel that is how we should go. I have been...well...put down for that position at times but I still think that is the course we need to take. Just look at the Federalist Papers. In a way we are writing the 21st century version of the Federalist papers. As Edward Bulwer-Lytton wrote, "The pen is mightier than the sword."

With that all said, when I call someone a friend that means something- Everybody else is an acquaintance. If our government or any other government imprisons one of my friends or family without due process their will be hell to pay.  [url=http://www.freesmileys.or
