Wearable Faraday cage.

If this really works then couldn't they make a suit for people with a Pace Maker or a suit with pockets for your iphone to protect from EMP/CME? Or just to keep the government from tracking you by your electronic devices?

Supposedly it works.  If I had a pacemaker, I'd probably consider buying some of the clothes.  But your body can act as an antenna, but it can also attenuate RF signals.  In any case, you'd be a guinea pig if you were trying to avoid an EMP strike on a pacemaker.

It looks uncomfortable to sleep in.  you would need goggles, gloves and shoes too.  I do wonder if it works on game like the video showed - now i'm curious.

woven carbon would be anti static but would allow some/alot of RF through - it would be interesting to see the attenuation at 2 GHZ.  I think in the dry environment they were in, they EM meter might have measured the static charge he had collected.
this jacket uses the same idea - http://ultrastat2000.com/esd_garments.html (http://ultrastat2000.com/esd_garments.html)  but the colors aren't as much fun.  they're pretty common in the electronics industry.

the video test they did shows lowering of capacitance and maybe some EMF - i would think of this more as a stealth suit to avoid detectors using EMF ?!?  range of about 0-1 Meters.   I'm not betting very much on its ability to protect a pace maker - probably better than bare skin - but not to the point i would rate it better than a mylar space blanket.

to protect an I-phone, put it in a sealed sandwich bag and into a metal ammo can.  (any faraday cage will stop the phone from getting email, texts or phone calls).  or just put the phone in a plastic sandwich bag and wrap in a couple of layers of Aluminum foil.  if you have a pacemaker and want to protect it, be in a car, elevator, parking garage, CONEX or the like during an EMP.  If anyone has a better idea on a wearable faraday cage thats any better than this, i'de love to hear about it.

I'm not sure if thats alot creepy or just a little.  But it sure has some measurable level of creepiness to it.
