You can see it on some other close ups.  I guess just for show, it's possible it could have been gutted and turned into a remote detonator.

Everything I've read said it's either a legitimate mix up by Fox News or a complete hoax. There was a runner named Donna that survived the explosion, but obviously they wouldn't have a photo of her immediately after. No footage as been revealed yet of the mix up which makes me believe it's either a photo shop hoax or a planted piece of misinformation to take credit from actual findings. Either way if you leave this bit out the whole thing is still a heaping pile of crap.
