For the past couple of weeks I have been inundated with full screen popups. Never happened before. I have Ad Block Plus but it doesn't stop the popups.
I ran a safe mode full system scan with no luck also did an update on my Norton. Can anyone point to a Popup Blocker that is free. I googled and there are so many I got confused.

I use AdBlocker and Ghostery. Between the 2 I rarely see an ad and popups are near nonexistant.

@Nemo Thanks I'll try Ghostery. I reinstalled Adblock now lets see what happens.

Potentially helpful on 1st post!
Might be worth running a trusted up-to-date malware checker like windows defender or w.e you happen to have, long as its a decently recognized name in malware blocking.
IF you do have a virus, neither of those programs will help, it will happily bypass them both. Run a scanner for viruses and such before adding anything else. Wouldnt want to give a virus a new place to hide now would we lol

Installed Ghostery tonight. I'm giving it a trial run right now. Thanks for the info.

@Nemo Ghostery slowed my computer way down and messed up my email. I played hell getting rid or it.
.Thanks anyway I appreciate the help.

That could explain the occasional major slowdowns I get on mine. I was wondering. Seems I need to do some investigating and finding out.
