I don't know if anybody has already posted this, but I thought this could have some handy applications.

Only place I could find that sells it http://www.concretecanvas.co.uk/CC_Purchase.html would be nice if they listed prices. If the price was right and I had the scratch then I could see some uses for it.

I love the idea. If the price were right, which it probably ain't, I'd take a few. These things have actually been popping up for a few years in magazines which makes me think they're expensive. Otherwise I'm sure they'd be selling out of them left and right to guys like us. Makes me wonder how well it would work to layer canvas/concrete/fiberglass/concrete/canvas or something to that effect; seal it and soak it.

Just a quick update on Concrete Canvas. I heard back from the company this evening pertaining to my inquiry on prices and dimensions. Anyone interested at $20,000 for the smallest one? $30,000 will about max you out, but they were sure to inform me at the moment they are primarily held up in military sales. So technically we already own some..........   [img]http://www.arrse.co.uk/at

Yea, it took the damn wankers forever to email me back when I asked them some time ago and they told me the same thing.

I don't know about you, but I get the sense from the email the pricing is not legit. Meaning it's hiked up to scare off civilian buyers. I've been noticing a number of things from certain companies that used to be available for purchase years ago now require LEO or military identification. Though it's a very innovative product I don't see them justify that price over other products at half the cost which are fire proof, bullet proof, water proof, etc. I'm actually kind of curious now if they've actually sold any to our military.
