While I was away my wife and I took this class called the "Truth Project." I'm not sure if any of you may have done this or even heard of it. I believe it's something that believers and not believers could learn a great deal from. It covers everything from philosophy, ethics, anthropology, theology, science, evolution, to history, historical revisionism, sociology, the American Experiment, labor, and community. It does have a Christian point of view, but each video dives deep in to some of the most basic concepts of life that I believe would better prepare any man or woman on this site for what is coming. If anyone here would be interested in taking the classes online the website is http://www.thetruthproject.org/ (http://www.thetruthproject.org/) and it is 100% free. There are only 12 videos and each one is only an hour long. You don't need to watch the videos one after the other. You can sign up to do the online discussions with other viewing the same video for that week. My invitation here is that if there are enough of you here that express interest in it, I would be more than happy to do blogtv each weekend to discuss the topic for 30 minutes to an hour or however long it takes as well as discuss some prepping. I feel a program like this would else help provide better structure and agenda to something like weekly blogtv's. If anyone's interested please let me know as soon as possible so we could start up on the same time. I would prefer to start in about two weeks. Maybe sooner if enough people show interest.

I was thinking every Sunday for twelve weeks to cover each video and discuss them. Probably sometime in the afternoon. Of course I can change up if you guys would rather do it during the week. Let me know. And again, I'd really encourage more to join up so people can discuss their view points. I know the trend tends to be that we need to just hit the "restart button" on this country, but I tend to follow my favorite quote. "All that is needed for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing." Sir Edmund Burke.

Here's my schedule over the next several weeks. It is what it is.
This Sunday watching the Pats beat the Ravens: 3-6ish
Next Sunday but after 4:00PM ET. I aheva a CBC I go to earlier in the day.
Three Sundays away- Super Bowle. Pats Vs. The Pats. I am free till 5:00PM ET
After that...I am as free as a bird.

Well, if it's just going to be just you and Sledge we can this a couple different ways. You guys could do the class with family and discuss. Or I can give you guys my number and you can call to discuss the videos each week after you watch them on what day you find fit. I'd still say blogtv, but I was thinking more like 5-10 people for that and someone cohosting. I hate to just feel like a talking head :))

Videos are only an hour long and we'd do one a week. Discussion on the videos is typically an hour, but we can do more or less and talk prepping depending on how it goes.

Just bumping this as a reminder for those that expressed interest or for those who may not have read the post. I was planning on trying to start this week, but some family issues have arisen. That being said, assuming I'm able to keep my current work schedule I'd prefer to do Wednesday nights about 9-10pm est and probably start next week.

Well it's not set in stone. Tuesdays or Thursdays may be able to work for me. I'd really like to get more people in this to do the blogtv deal though. It works best with 10-20 people. I know that's as much if not more than some of the more recent blogtv's some members have held, but it's not going to be a random topic or rant by BWB (no offense kid). And it really helps to have more to discuss the topics from different views. Hopefully we can get some more feedback in before next week. If to few people express interest I'll give my number to those of you who don't already have it, but plan to take the class and would like to discuss the videos.

Alright, well for those interested let's start this next week. I was hoping to have more, but I'd rather not wait around any longer for people to chime in. My work schedule is turning out to be a little more chaotic than I expected so I probably won't be able to do blogtv, but for those interested I figure we can open up a thread here and just chat back and forth weekly as people watch at their convenience.

Nevermind. It appears you can no longer watch the episodes online for free when signing up. Apparently doing the right thing instead of making $99 is asking just to damn much. And any YT channel's that had it no longer do as well. >:( I still recommend the program this bullshit aside. Sorry guys.
