With South America going the way of
Zimbabwe, I am sure many native South Africans are regretting their decision to a) register their firearms in 2000 and/or b) allow confiscation of non-legal weapons.
With the ongoing gun debate here in the States, it is important to see how well gun control has worked in other countries like:
USSR (1920's),
Germany (1930's),
China (1950's),
Vietnam (1970's),
Warsaw countries during Nazi occupation (1940-44),
among others and of course South Africa (2000) the reason for this post.
