Picked up a copy of the magazine this weekend. Must say, it's pretty well done. Graphic style is similar to Recoil. Information, from what I've read so far, is solid. There is nothing that probably hasn't been discussed in the forum at some point, but still think this is valuable to help people get their shit squared away for whatever may come in the future. Good start from Off Grid.

Is Recoil the magazine ran by the guy who was for banning certain firearms?

Yup, the same one, although they fired that guy, mainly because of  people's rage and loosing a lot of companies announcements and support.

Don't want to get into the whole witch hunt that Recoil went through. They have since rectified things (not that they really needed too, from my point of view) and really got back on track with that magazine and this new one.
