the award wasn't nominated by the Pres. He is technically in charge of the DoD but the award came from one of his reports in the DoD - probably a tradition or a snub against the incoming administration . splitting hairs, i'll agree, but he didn't nominate or present himself the award. One of his croneys gave him a going away present. The best i can call the Breitbart story is 'creative'.
- this whole fake news thing is giving me headaches. We truly live in an age where propaganda has more gravitas than the truth. I haven't found a news source that isn't full of BS anymore.
Any ideas anyone? I have no idea where to find a news source that just reports the news anymore without the moral extemporizing, the scripted 'spontaneous' opinion. Between Fox and CNN you have two large conglomerates competing for control of the narrative. Oh well, that problem will go away in a generation - no one under 40 gets there news that way anymore. This whole echo-chamber news cycle is really splitting our country apart. you have people so polarized that constructive discourse is stifled in favor of spoon fed, predigested opinion. The assumption seems to be that if you don't agree with 'US', then you are 'Them'. our current news sources sound like competing psyops.
