 Nervous to the point of being scared. How about you? With everything happening with Russia, Syria, Iran, the witch hunt and progressives calling for a shooting civil war our country is in peril.
 I started building a Faraday Cage for my generator today, taking count of B+B+B. I bought a bottle of whiskey for medicinal purposes. I may have to medicate myself later tonight.

There seems to be a trend of sounding off on things prior to the collection of evidence. To make foreign policy statements without evidence is a road that our governments keep following.

This is what scares me the most. Even though we will be legitimately defending our lives against these thugs the media will say they are justified in their attacks and we are the bad guys for defending ourselves

I wouldn't be proper to name the person who told me that, but I can tell you that someone from a very secretive section of the military told me that in person. It don't get no more real than that. The military sits around all day everyday developing strategies and tactics for every situation that you can possibly imagine.

To you and your source PK is that the urban area's will have the most ugliness compared to rural America. I have a former AI (Army Intelligence...I know I know an oxymoron) friend who is a member of this forum. He explained to me similarly, that if the military was called up to help...And they came, they would surround the large urban centers for humanitarian reasons. Just think what would happen if the SHTF in a large city like, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington, Newark, etc. 

To be on the cautious side, I have put all of my extra electronics in the Faraday cage. Gas tanks are topped off, some additional basic supplies have been purchased, a couple of weeks/months earlier than I normally get them, etc. If the saber rattling goes up another notch or two maybe it will be time to withdraw some money from the bank, buy some kerosene, etc.

I just hope that my friends who are closer to the Washington DC rail road tracks will give us all a heads up. UP has many  friends out there.

if you really are bored, start reading the NSPD 51 and the HSPD 20 COG - work from there.
i believe that there are planning scenarios for...  "triage" comes to mind. most states have their plans online.  Last i looked, the unclass parts took up about 10 linear feet of shelving (in three ring binders).  if you're interested in ancient history, the doomsday book for USAREUR in the 1980's has been declassified.  so has Pres. Reagan's SIOP brief for WWIII.

Yes. Trying to cover everywhere, all the time, would spread the forces too thin and also the large urban areas are going to be the most dangerous. Containment is better than allowing the danger to spread out into the smaller urban areas and the rural countryside.

@ SK - Yes, medical, food, water, housing if necessary, et cetera. People who wanted to leave the area and had a destination and a means for travel would be allowed to leave. I don't know how 'they' would verify that info though other than - I was caught in the city when X happened and my address is Y as seen on my license.

Plus the aforementioned humanitarian aide, obviously policing would be part of this exercise.

The way it was presented to me was this controlling of urban areas was not nefarious in nature but a desire to offer aide to the most vulnerable.

Initially, I'm sure it would be nobody in and nobody out. As soon as some kind of control is achieved, it would become some people in and some people out. The real touchy part will be when the Military tries to be helpful and bring in food and other supplies. That's when the scumbags will come out of the woodwork to rob the people of the newly received food and supplies. I don't see the military going into the urban environment to help the helpless until there is almost no resistance.
