The people who control the language control the argument. It really bothers me when conservatives allow uber liberals to control the way we speak.
No such Thing
Believing in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights makes me a conservative then I have always been a conservative. Just like the Constitution I have not changed but now I am called a Far Right.
There is no such thing as a Far Right. The language has been bastardized to the point where the Far Left determines the meaning of the word.
YES there is a Far Left, it was born out of arrogance and the feeling of superiority. You will speak the way I say and think the way I say is their attitude. Think; the anti first amendment group ANTIFA and the racists of Black Lives Matter.
They say the KKK and the American Nazi Party are the far right but in all essence they are the Far Left. The KKK were former slave owners (democrats) who formed this horrendous group. As far as the Nazi’s well I can’t see any difference. They hate Americans of African heritage, Jews, Catholics and everyone who believes in a SUPREME BEING.
There is no such thing as the FAR RIGHT!

This sortof falls into a "conversation" I was having on another board so answer me this please
Do individual states have the right to change the Bill of Rights to meet their needs? As example we will start with 2A and some of the crazy laws in many of the states.
What are your thoughts?
-
@grizz In my opinion NO

Do individual states have the right to change the Bill of Rights to meet their needs?
No! that's what the amendment process is for.
-
No, and like what Kbop wrote, "...that's what the amendment process is for."
As Ayn Rand wrote in The Objectivist,
"It is obvious what the fraudulent issue of fascism versus communism accomplishes: it sets up, as opposites, two variants of the same political system; it eliminates the possibility of considering capitalism; it switches the choice of “Freedom or dictatorship?” into “Which kind of dictatorship?”—thus establishing dictatorship as an inevitable fact and offering only a choice of rulers. The choice—according to the proponents of that fraud—is: a dictatorship of the rich [fascism] or a dictatorship of the poor [communism]. "

No, but that doesn't mean that the States haven't defied the Bill of Rights. There isn't one single state that has not illegally infringed on the 2nd Amendment. They've done it so much and so often that the Dumb Masses just accept it as being OK.
-
Whew, at least I'm not alone here. On the other forum they were arguing that owning a vehicle and driving, marriage are rights protected under the Constitution/BoR and states have every right to adjust as they see fit (speed limits, gay marriage, etc...) and I they also have the right to live outside the BoR. I tried to say those things ARE NOT rights, they are privileges - it got me nowhere... My interest in that site is quickly dwindling...

Its not only the 2nd but he 1st is under attack too with all these snowflakes being offended by the oppositions views and shutting down public speaking events, its getting crazy

@grizz
I known some pretty stupid people but the one's you mention beat them by a mile.
-
I have gotten in a conversation like that once. When he began figuring I was the far right I simply corrected him. I am the FAIR right. For everyone. Nothing more and nothing less than fundamental fairness.
