Title: New Guy
Post by: hjmoosejaw on January 21, 2012, 12:43:21 PM
Just wanted to say Hello! I'm new to this forum and this subject. I share a lot of the same views and wish to learn more. Looking forward to getting to know you guys and sharing opinions, views, ideas and knowledge.  A little bit about myself: Middle age man, husband, father of three. I enjoy hunting, fishing, firearms and outdoors. I mind my own business and expect others to do the same. Right now, tired of the way this country is going.

Welcome hjmoosejaw!  Jump in.  We have a vary assorted group of personalities and opinions here.  Most of the opinions are sort of out there, and then of course the rest agree with mine.   :)  Just playing.  You'll find that here too.

Glad you found us, and again welcome!

Welcome to the camp fire.

Just a suggestion: Before you post asking a question check out the search function at the top of your screen.

Grab a cup of joe and join in.

I just reviewed my post and am not sure what the question is that you're referring to. Maybe I'm misunderstanding your reply. Anyway, thanks for the welcoming and I do have a cup of Joe right by my side. Cheers!

As Spirit wrote; we have had some issues with new folks asking a question (s) that immediately alienates him/her from the group.

Questions like: "Which is better AK or AR?"  Or my favorit, "Is MrL&L here?"

I just don't want that to happen to you.  [URL=http://www.smileyvault.co

I found this forum by accident (glad I did though) I'm registered to an Open Carry website and being Winter time, the site is pretty inactive due to people wearing coats and not open carrying as much. So I typed in for other OC websites I might want to visit and this one was there. I've been on Youtube a lot watching Prepping videos so the prep part of STRAIGHTPREP jumped out at me.

We have a search bar? :o

Welcome aboard hjmoosejaw!  I'm sure you will get a lot of good advice but feel free to contribte as much as you can as well.  We will excuse any goof ups for a guy that's trying to share good stuff with our group.  Check the rules too and ARs are better than AKs...

I'm just kidding guys you know I'm 7.62 all day.   I just had to pick one over the other for the joke and we all know AK guys are more reliable with more forgiving tolerances.
