Saw something interesting while in SC this week. Military truck transporting some new vehicle. Looked like a dune buggy and humvee had heavily armored babies. I searched some on the internet and seen some similar concepts, but nothing quite the same. I don't know if it was a concept vehicle being transported to a base or what, but the thing was bad ass. Wouldn't want to be on the receiving end though.....
Closest thing I've found http://defensetech.org/2011/09/14/jltv-at-serious-risk/ (http://defensetech.org/2011/09/14/jltv-at-serious-risk/)
The front end on the one I saw was more heavily armored and sat lower. It also had some tech I couldn't recognize in brief passing. Definitely slimmer in the mid section. Looked like it'd carry no more than four. Maybe it was a new model heading to some Lockheed Martin testing grounds :-\

We've come along way from the days of the Wills Go Devil Jeep, I'm afraid it's been in the wrong direction though..

Closer DS, but still not quite. Kind of looked like a cross between the first picture and last.
