Drew my last unemployment check this Monday. Been dreading it for months as the deadline approached. I've sent out hundreds of applications and resumes. Only managed to get two interviews. I can't complain though because I've learned a lot. I've been able to get a lot of stuff done around the house. And I've spent a lot of quality time with the family. I got a letter I can get some emergency funds for another five months, but I won't be needing them. BECAUSE I GOT A FRICKIN' JOB!God has good timing in my book. The pay isn't the best to start, but there's a huge plus. The company is building another store nearby and the CEO of the company works out of the store I'll be working at. So it should be an awesome oppurtunity to get noticed and hopefully promoted quickly. Also beat the national average length of unemployment by a good stretch. [URL=http://www.smileyvault.co
All I can say is prayer paid off and I'll be praying for those I know are still unemployed here.

Congrats bro!!! Thanks man. I was sweating it bad. Important thing is I learned some important lessons from taking that last job and during my past six months so I consider it well worth it. (http://www.smileyvault.co

Congratulations! That's gotta feel good. I've been there. Hundreds of application to no avail. Pretty neat about the timing thing too.

Thanks guys! A particular thanks to 1000meterstare. The guy's been there to talk whenever I needed and checked in often to give me some perspective. You don't find that sort of consideration in many people nowadays. He's a great friend indeed. [URL=http://www.smileyvault.co

Good job bro Man, I'll be honest, if I didn't go through what I did while I was unemployed it'd probably be another 6 months to a year before I got a job. Sounds strange I'm sure, but I believe I got pulled out of the cycle for a bit of rest and to get my head on straight. This will probably be hard to understand, and I'm sure I'll get another -1 karma thingy for even saying it. I prayed about getting a job, but in a different way. I basically said, "God if it be your will I get a job than let it be, but if I have more to learn and gain from not working than I pray you'd with hold me from getting a job, and I have faith that you will provide." I went from a straight up mess freaking out about it for months. To actually being at peace and just giving it up to him. Submission isn't an easy thing, but when it's to God it's the right and good thing. I could go on, but I don't want to make to many peoples heads spin on here. You've got my number man. If you ever need to talk or have questions I'm always free. Well for the next week or so lol. Then I've got some hours. (http://www.freesmileys.or. I have yet to even see an interview and I'm a vet WTF
