NOLA god point. Speaking about myself; if I can't add something new to a subject I just don't write anything.
I understand that, but surely SOMEONE has heard some interesting news? of course, news stories aren't the primary focus of a prepping forum, but staying on top of the news can certainly better your chances of getting out alive if something should go down.
anyway, I just thought it was strange that I see more people online at any given time than ever before yet the forum participation is slower than ever before. kinda sad really. there's a reason I keep coming back to this site. it's because there's no other site that I've found that (for the most part) let's me be ME and doesn't jump up my ass for being a potty-mouth. doesn't jump up my ass for certain topics I may bring up (sure, the membership may flame me for some things, but that's to be expected, I'm talking about disciplinary action from the administration itself)... if this site goes down, where the hell are we going to find anything even close to it? nowhere. lots of us tend to complain about the "lack of useful content"... I see where they're coming from but I don't agree. there's only so many times you can discuss which gun is best.. etc. what we have is a humble little community and it's a bit confusing that more people don't see that and become interested. ( kinda just rambling here.)
