A random act of kindness
« on: October 29, 2017, 12:40:18 PM »
A story I just have to tell.
After church this morning my wife and I went to breakfast and was the restaurant crowded. Two people didn't show up for work, a waitress and the busboy. The cashier was busing between seating people and cashing them out. After we were seated we waited 30 minutes to be waited on and another 20 minutes to be served.
As we waited I noticed a woman in street cloths busing and so was her 11 year old son and her husband started waiting tables. They were customers and they decided to help out those people waiting for breakfast. My wife stopped the woman and asked her why. She said her husband was the manager of another restaurant "Bob Evans" that she was a waitress also and understood their problem and decided to help.
I'm not a fan of Bob Evans breakfast but I will be eating there more often.

In principle, no less than in practice, socialism is the ideology of thieves and tyrants.

Cool story JoJo! On a side note, I ate at Bob Evans for the first time, about two years ago. I love their steak and eggs! That was the best steak I ever ate. I can't tell you about any of their other food. I never made it past the steak and eggs. lol That's all I've ordered any other time I went there, afterwards. Steak and eggs, sourdough bread toast and loaded hash browns. Oh man!
