Title: McDonalds
Post by: Nemo on January 11, 2019, 09:54:41 AM
is my preferred drive through fast food place.  May not be good but is the same in Va as in FL as in KS as in NM as anywhere.

They are nationally ranked as the best tasting fries also.  Those may be improving and becoming main course.  Cheesy Bacon fries with fries and a drink.  I could do that.

McDonald’s launches Cheesy Bacon Fries nationwide
By Taylor Rock | The Daily Meal

McDonald's is going all in on bacon.

McDonald’s has the fries that’ll cross your eyes. OK, maybe they won’t do that, but if you like bacon, they might make you lick your chops. The burger chain began testing America’s favorite breakfast food on its famous fries in two states only late last year, and soon enough Cheesy Bacon Fries will be available at Golden Arches locations nationwide — but that’s not all.

For a limited time only starting January 30, McDonald’s will begin adding bacon to not one but three menu classics. In addition to fries smothered in real cheddar sauce and smoked bacon bits, customers will be able to order the Big Mac and Quarter Pounder with three pieces of thick-cut Applewood smoked bacon. So! Much! Bacon!

It’s safe to say people are obsessed with the pig product, and McDonald’s is well aware of that. According to a release, the move to add the meat to the menu stems from market research, in which the brand found that the word “bacon” was mentioned across Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest and other forums an average of 17,000 times a day (or 740 times an hour) by users in the U.S. between January 1, 2018, and January 7, 2019. But Americans aren’t the only ones with seemingly infinite cravings for cured pork. Here’s a look at how the rest of the world eats bacon.

When I lived in NM you could get green/red chili on a burger, not sure if they still do that but you cant get that anyplace else in the Country.

I loved McD's back in the 70's and early 80's but their quality has gone WAY down since then. Their breakfast is tolerable most of the time and for whatever reason their fries always did rock. That being said I dont go there unless I'm "backed up" and cant find a taco bell...

Ask gadget88 about those.  That is somewhere in Britain.  Not planned for the US market.

But those bacon cheese fries.   :baconDance:

I love fresh cooked bacon but it causes my bad cholesterol to shoot skywards.
MickyD's sausage egg and cheese for $2.00 cant beat it. My favorite is ARBY's roast beef with horse radish.
