Food For Thought
« on: June 24, 2017, 04:04:40 AM »
I have been mulling this over and over in my mind. What would the USofA look like today post the shooting at the baseball field IF there was no one there to of shot the shooter? In theory he could have killed up to 30 Congressmen and another ten or so staffers. That would have been ~10% of the GOP in Congress.

It would have been in essence another 9/11 moment.

My mind wanders with all of the bad possibilities like:

> Stock market collapse,
> With pensions relying so much on the market, I could see pensions failing across the country,
> ANTIFA or ISIS folks taking advantage of the situation,
> In our chaos, Russia taking over all off Ukraine, N.Korea invading S.Korea, Iran launching an attack on Israel,
> US Dollar being dropped as the world currency,
> Martial law,
> Runs on the bank,
> .....

You get my drift.

I can only believe it was an act of Divine Providence that there were two armed Capital Police there to stop Satan's imp.

Just some food for thought at 0405 hrs this morning.

I think the bigger goings on would be more like the GCA of 17 being pushed through Congress.  More limiting and tighter on us all than the 34 multiplied by the 68 subtracting out 6 from the 86, adding the 93 multiplying it all by 94, subtracting 03 and 04 and 05, dividing by 08, subtracting 12.

Saving you all the math, it makes us Russia.

If you need a second magazine, its time to call in air support.

God created Man, Col. Sam Colt made him equal, John Moses Browning turned equality to perfection, Gaston Glock turned perfection into plastic fantastic junk.

It could have touched off a civil war too.  I know a lot of conservative folks are getting fed up with the violence originating from the leftists/progressives/Marxists/socialists.  I could see a definite split among the populace, especially between urbanites versus country folks.  It would make for a long, hot summer.

I'm trying to see the bright side of the picture.

Since the incident they are trying to pass a law allowing all congress people to CCW throughout the Country. At first glance this seems like a good idea for all gun owners but at second glance this only applies to congress people, NOT the general public. They opened the door and now we need to contact all of our representatives and let them know their lives are not more important than ours and the law needs to include to all law abiding citizens of the US, NOT just the elite few...

One of the biggest problems is conservatives allowing white supremacist groups like the anti first amendment group Antifa to control the narrative. Have you seen any person of color in their group? I haven't but I've seen people of color in Pro-Trump rally's. This group and their allies are also Anti-Semitic.
But why aren't people pulling their masks off and taking their picture to put on line for the world to see who these dirt bags are?
In principle, no less than in practice, socialism is the ideology of thieves and tyrants.

Interesting comments. All worth forum members thinking about them. Thank you gents for playing. What happened to the ladies of this forum?

Most important is that we live in a time where one major political action by anyone, by any side, could cause the whole house of cards to collapse.
