Think twice, as our residents are the poorest in the nation.

No wonder why I cannot find a job, no matter where I apply.

I just got hired at Spherion, in Byron. Go to their website, and give them a try. It's a staffing agency. I'm only making $9/hr, but it's enough to pay the rent every month, freeing up my wife's money for other things.

Congrats Rah.  I know that has to take some weight off your mind.  Right now any job is a good job!  I might try a staffing agency myself.

Thanks, guys. I have to submit some paperwork to them, and I may interview for a job at Lockheed Martin over at the WR AFB. $10.50/hr starting. If I work for them for a while, I'll see if I can slip in for some full time work, and maybe a raise!  ;D

Right now Im working with some folks in Cali to find a steady part/full time job. but I was with a staffing agency for a bit working to open a new hospital.

Labor Ready is suppose to be good if you need some cash. $60 bucks a day for general labor and you get paid that day if you want. Well thats what I heard, when I was there during the holidays I didnt get any gigs. Just do the paper work, take a simple test (dont fail it or else you have to wait a year to retake it!!!), and then show up in the mornings to see if you get called up. Looks like they have a few locations in Georgia, primarily in the north.

StaffChex gave me some work after the New Years celebrations cleaning up the Rose Bowl after the game. They have one location in Pooler, Georgia.

Manpower has 1 location in Georgia.
