Title: Indiana tornadoes
Post by: 1000meterstare on March 02, 2012, 08:19:12 PM
I believe the Good Lord spared me on this one.  My boss sent us all home at 12:45pm (ahead of the storms - good call).  I got my crank radio and headed to my basement with my dogs where the majority of my preps were.  There was devastation all around me very close, but it was like there was a forcefield or something around the immediate area where I lived.  The worst I got was power outtage and yard debris.  This and other things is the reason why we prep.  Had it been worse, I would still have had food, water, light, heat, protection, etc.  People died due to tornadoes close to me.  I pray for their families.  Southern Indiana looks like a battlezone.

[URL=http://www.smileyvault.co Good to hear all is well with you. I'm sure many in the nation are praying for those families harmed by the storms today. And no doubt many people will be heading there for recovery. I just pray it doesn't turn out to be like last year or worse for the midwest. I remember those ominous clouds, sirens, and hail all to well.

Thanks for posting this 1000meter (AKA Iron Hip)! I think you had mentioned last evening that there was 4 deaths in a town not far from where you live. Our prayers go out to all who have lost life and property during these series of events.

I am going to take a peak at Dutchsence to see if their was any HARP action in the area.

Take care of yourself 1000Meter!  [URL=http://www.smileyvault.co
