NC_WhiteWolf here. Hope everyone has been doing well. I contacted JM yesterday about some exciting developments I've had lately. I wanted to share with you all and hopefully offer up something reminiscent of the old Lock&Load days. Or at the very least some entertainment.
About two years ago I started doing prepper meetup groups with a buddy of mine. Over those past two years we've developed an extensive network of hardcore-newbie Preppers throughout the Carolinas. I'm really happy to say it's been extremely rewarding and has developed in to some excellent business opportunities. Within the next 2-3 months I'll be leaving my full time job to teach and consult for other Preppers full time. I'll also be establishing my primary bug in location deep in the mountains of NC (Finally).
About one month ago we received an opportunity to go on the Prepper Broadcasting Network. This is owned and operated by APN for those familiar with them. This week we received notification that we'll be going to an XM station as soon as next week. We're on Fridays at 9:00pm est for one hour. I believe we follow Jack Spirko currently. Along with the radio we're starting an online academy for training new Preppers. Currently we have around a dozen sponsors, about 1,700 active members of the meet ups, and are growing quickly. Monthly meetings and the radio keep us fairly busy and we really wanted to get away from the forums to have one on one interactions. We've also had some great guest speakers at our meet ups. Last month we were blessed to have William Forstchen, author of "One Second After" speak at our meetup in Charlotte, NC. We're also in talks to do some seminars with interested parties in the PGA and NASCAR.
Obviously with the elections coming up, the economic turmoil, and the world in chaos prepping is more important than ever. In what we believe is a final push, we're doing what we can to make prepping truly mainstream. I'd love for you guys to stop by the live chat, listen in, etc. I also hope that though I know most of the folks on here are well established Preppers we may cover some stuff that will be thought and action provoking.
