What I find 'interesting' is that the first questions are usually
'How much food do you have?".
'How many guns and ammunition do you have?"
and more such TV nonsense.
Outside of the Western world, the
two biggest killers are:
1. Bad Hygiene, especially as it related to water and food handling.
2. Other third worlders.
3. I don't need all that; I'll just come to your house.
"YOU LOW LIFE, PINHEADED KNUCKLE-DRAGGING
MAGGOT! GET OFF MY LAWN!"
The old saying is trUe, that "
Plumbers save more lives than doctors." . By keeping water SOURCES seperated from animal/human waste, many lives are spared a terrible death and community illnesses are largely prevented, rather than waiting for government doctors and Big Pharma to give us medicines to cure what we did to ourselves.
A lone time ago, as an instructor, I used to preface classes with:
"
99% of what is commonly called "SURVIVAL" is good old fashioned HOME ECONOMICS: shelter, clean water and kitchen. The last 1% is the ability to hold on to your shelter, clean water and kitchen.".
