I know somebody that owns a norinco possibly type 56. He wants a 9mm. Should I offer to trade my glock 26 for it? Glocks are up to 700 dollars currently.
Please opinions. I have 2 glocks and 4 AKMs now.. I just know I can successfully arm more people with an AK than with a glock.

I don't see why not. Glocks have been holding their prices more than AKs or any other "assault" rifle. Norincos are supposed to be very good quality.
Btw, the Type 56 is the select-fire military weapon. Do you mean a MAK-90?
-
I can't offer an opinion as I own neither. However some things to think about.
> There are more 9mm rounds out 'there' than 7.62x39
> A hand gun is easier to conceal
> A rifle has more knockdown power
> A rifle out to 100 yrds and farther is more accurate
> Most people, man or women, can fire a rifle faster and more accurately than a handgun
> Right now there is a movement to confiscate AK's and not handguns. Of course that will change down the road
What am I missing cornkiller?

well I have 4 9mm's total. 2 Beretta's and 2 Glocks. I only have like 8 glock mags that I am keeping. I have over 30 ak-47 mags. I have over 5k+ rounds for my ak's and only 1k round of 9mm. I plan on shooting more AK ammo.
I don't believe its a mak-90 it is earlier then that. He recently bought it for 300 dollars. ( a guy that doesn't know much about guns.)

DO IT.
I would trade my glock in a heartbeat for another Norinco.
Glocks are still being imported, Norinco's however, are not.

Okay, I'll see if he will bite at the offer of a glock 26.
