Lake City 500-rd pack - $279.00 each

Armscor 20-rd box - $12.99 each (http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/product/AMM-7220?utm_source=eblast&utm_medium=webmail&utm_campaign=10252013&utm_source=Marketlive+Email&utm_medium=email&utm_term=Product_01_02Map&utm_content=The+.308+at+the+prices+you+have+been+waiting+for!&utm_campaign=10%2F25%2F2013#Reviews)

I know Lake City only from reputation, and most people seem to like it. I've never heard of Armscor, but for the price it might be worth checking out. I wish I had the money to get a box of that Lake City.  That's almost $0.50 per round for 7.62.

Must be more squirrels in PA than I ever thought to need that much squirrel gun ammo.   :lmfao:

Oh wait, this isn't the AK Vrs AR thread is it?  Sorry.  My bad.  :-[

Not a bad price though.   :)

Better a squirell round than a castrated .308. At least I can hit the squirell.

My walmart started carrying bulk boxes of m193 so I bought a box. But at around .50 cents a round I probably won't buy any more. My walmart is back to normal on ammo except for the .22lr.

Yep, I'm sure the squirrels you're hunting feel the same way.   :dancingGrenade:

CTD can sell it for 10cents a round and I'd still tell um to shove it up their ass.

Fuck them....

I agree, within reason. If you're really hurting for ammo, a good deal is a good deal. If you can afford to pass, then do so.

If you take that kind of stance with everything, you'd be purchasing everything differently...for instance, you wouldn't be purchasing anything outsourced from cheap overseas production that once came from American workers. You will keep purchasing from vendors that stock imported items from Asia, though, just like almost everyone else in America. It's more economical in time and money.

Armscor is from the Phillipines.  A better choice is MFS.  It is Russian, and steel cased, lead nosed jacketed bullet.  I sell it for $12.99/ bx of 20.  I have shot 1" groups at 100 yds.  Not bad for cheap imported ammo.
