The show definitely needs real prepping, not Prepping Lifestyles of the Too Damn Rich and Very Foolish, not The Prepper Dating Game, etc... I think the only when they had SouthernPrepper on one of the first shows was actually an okay representation of prepping. I dunno, but I still watch the damn show, but thank the gods I have fast forward on my dvr. I actually was only half-joking about the TG family, think you both would make excellent representatives of the prepping community on the tv. How NatGeo would edit that, is a whole another matter.
