Cornwall is one of MrsMac and my favorite parts of England. The wool products produced there are the best bar none.
I will have to look up the name of the village Gadget, however we stayed in a small village that was awesome. First at a fancy hotel just out of the village where our roof was actually thatched. Then we moved into the village once MrsMac claimed I had a hard time staying to the wrong side/right side of the road after a couple of pints. (The woman is delusional) We stayed above a pub. The pub accommodations were awesome - Complete with a full breakfast.
MrsMac LOVES blood pudding... Me not so much. Although the coffee sucked the tea would grow hair on your chest which is the way I like it.
Anyhow, MrsMac bought the nicest wool suit there. Jacket & Skirt. We also bought a shit-ton of other fine wool-ins like a blanket, sofa pillow covering's etc. When we arrived at my families home in Edinburgh, all of my relatives scoffed at our purchases in Cornwall, as apparently, Scottish wool is better than English wool
What ever, we still have it all and it is going strong. Mmmmmmmm, but I do have my dad's kilt, which belonged to his dad and was passed on down through the family since the mid 1800's. It's a bit to small for my figure at the moment BUT it is new as the day it was made.
Have a GREAT time...Wishing I was there!
