Finalizing 2017 Predictions

I am putting the final bows from your predictions of 2017. I need one more little bit of help from you folks.

Would you please list your top 3 probabilities for 2017. If you don;t have time for comments that is fine just list your top three probabilities. If you do have time please take time to explain.

Hiya,

Here are mine based upon living in the UK.

1. Avian Flu Pandemic - it is going to happen and I believe it may hit this year.

2. Economic challenges for the uk as a symptom of the Brexit thing.

3. Probably a terrorist attack using chemical agents. The nore ISIL gets squeezed in the middle east the more desperate they become.

 Financial collapse. We're sitting on a bubble with only the stock market doing well. Obama's Fed has been keeping interest rates low to feed the market but when Trump takes over all He$$ is going break loose.
 Trump will move the Embassy to Jerusalem and Hamas will attack it causing a short war. Short war because we won't have a pussy in the White house anymore.
 Cyber attacks. Just because it has been going on by both sides for quite awhile.

1. A continuation, growth, and promotion by the media & educational institutions of domestic terrorists (a.k.a. BLM) - leading to larger, more prolonged & costly (lives & property) riots, plus more individual cases of violence/kidnapping/torture/murder.

2. Spread of infectious diseases / pandemic

3. I dunno...the rich get richer?

Just had an scary thought.

I fear what would happen if some progressive nutjob took out trump.

Talk about an invitation to chaos.

While the risk has always been there for any president. The current mood and anger of a good portion of the population is honestly scary.

Just thinking here.

Oh Gadget, venom coming out from the left is very caustic indeed. I figured out what their goal is and it is simple. Undermine Trump's Presidency before day one and leading up to a Black Swan event occurs. Whether it be directed at Trump or off to the side like another 9-11.

Yes and no Kbop.

The Tea Party wasn't around till 2010-ish and it came out of the failure of the GOP in the legislature along with Obama's policies.

To be honest, I do not remember the level of negative noise towards a new President in my 60 years on this earth. I have read accounts of similar level of venom coming from the Democrats leading up to Lincoln's inaugural though. How did that work out? Maybe we are heading towards a Civil War again.

I'm just pointing out that angry, dire, dislike of the 'not we' is a time honored tradition in our political landscape.  my anger-o-meter failed along time ago.

there is always an angry response when one side looses.  some times it is like Lincoln and war results.  Some times it is because of their 'religious' beliefs - like Kenedy.  I was just pointing out that this seems to be a normal part of our country's zeitgeist.  Parts of the US of A went into angry frightened spasms over Reagan and WWIII becoming a guarantee.  Thankfully it didn't happen.  mostly is doesn't happen (Lincoln being a glaring exception). 
Ok so the Left Coast and liberals lost this one.  Now they are worried we are going to heck in a deplorable hand basket  :stir:  it's Trumps turn in the barrell. 
for Barry O, we had the 'he is Muslim' 'he didn't have a birth certificate' 'his Chicago Church's Pastor is mean' 'he was born in Kenya' 'he is brown' 'he is biracial' 'he smoked pot' 'he isn't republican' 'he wasn't a member of ALEC'... it feels to me like the collective anger/fear was about the same (with the caveat about my broken anger-o-meter).

 Kbop I’ve read most of your posts and I feel that you are an honorable man who gives people the benefit of the doubt but in this case I feel you are mistaken. There isn’t anyone they will they will accept except one of their own.
 Right now they are scared to death that Trump the man who owes nothing to anyone is going to return this country back to freedom. They will and have done everything to rid this country of him believing in the communist mantra THE END JUSTIFIES THE MEANS.

JoJo, thanks for the respect - I'll try not to abuse it.

I think - for myself - that communism and democracy are two sides of the same coin.  I think the main-stream democrats and republicans are biased toward their owners - most of our elected officials make far more from insider trading and crony capitalism and out right 'legalized bribes' than from us poor US citizens.
in the case of the Clinton's, just look at their 'Clinton Foundation'.  Or ALEC or ACORN or...
The article you posted is correct, the US of A has changed alot since the 18th century. 
'to the ends justifies the means' - the true clarion call of the intolerant - and a serious, current problem.  If you operate outside the rule of law, you must first decide the law doesn't apply to you.  That arrogant narcissism is dangerous to most of us normal work-a-day types.
the neo-libs and progressives and the special snow-flakes will never accept Trump.  Just like the business backed Tea Party and business owned Republicans never accepted O'bama. 
I hope you are right about Trump's presidency.
I don't think my government is responsible for giving me a participation 'in life' trophy.  I would describe most forms of welfare as that.  Everyone should have a level playing field and then your efforts - and yes a little luck - will allow the largest number of people to prosper.
the only thing i would change about your last post  :stir: is i don't think they are liberal democrats anymore.  I think they are more social democrats - more like the green party or other left leaning groups.  its a minor shift but an important one to me.  It explains the how's and why's of the occupy groups.
