Hi all I'm looking at replacing or just having something different as my EDC knife. I carry a Kershaw Blur right now that is a tanto blade. I hate the tanto.
The ones that I am looking at and being on a budget of $25.00 or less (gift car to amazon.com) I really want to stay close to that if I can. I will post links to the ones I'm looking at as of right now.
CRKT series I'm looking at-

Okay so I've been looking at others as well. So if you have a better choice for $25.00 or less or close to that price range would be great. I like to keep it in this price range because I get free shipping and its not wasting my gift card and I have a few other things Im adding in to my cart.
I want a good EDC knife for a budget minded guy and that is me. Thanks everyone.

I also wanted to add an update- I found another knife that I really like and just not 100% sure on.
Spyderco Cara Cara
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0049AYJP4/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?ie=UTF8&m=A36ZAOEPX7I0P8 (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0049AYJP4/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?ie=UTF8&m=A36ZAOEPX7I0P8)
This is right in my price point and I have enough wiggle room to add a book I've been looking at as well.

I'd go with the Spyderco. This knife's actually the one I carry. http://www.amazon.com/Spyderco-Tenacious-Handle-Folding-Plain/dp/B001EI7578/ref=pd_sim_sbs_sg_1 (http://www.amazon.com/Spyderco-Tenacious-Handle-Folding-Plain/dp/B001EI7578/ref=pd_sim_sbs_sg_1) It's a damn fine blade considering I was using it for over a year from everything to opening boxes, splicing wire, screw driver, you name it, before I had to sharpen it. One thing I'd recommend is change the belt hook around. If you look in the picture where it is, just flip it on that same side. It's a lot easier to open and flick it open if your right handed. A little more than your budget, but it's a quality knife. I got mine as a gift. It's honestly the only folding knife I have. Everything else is Kershaw, Gerber, Kabar, United Cutlery, Swiss, ......I think that's it. But I prefer my Spyderco for everyday. Endorsed enough? LOL

I've had a Kershaw Clash for a while and really like it. The bade comes ultra sharp from the factory and holds well.

Everyone in our family carries the Kershaw Ken onion leek: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_4_8?url=search-alias%3Dsporting&field-keywords=kershaw+scallion&sprefix=kershaw+%2Csporting%2C401#/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_1_8?url=search-alias%3Dsporting&field-keywords=kershaw+leek&sprefix=kershaw+%2Csporting%2C350&rh=n%3A3375251%2Ck%3Akershaw+leek (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_4_8?url=search-alias%3Dsporting&field-keywords=kershaw+scallion&sprefix=kershaw+%2Csporting%2C401#/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_1_8?url=search-alias%3Dsporting&field-keywords=kershaw+leek&sprefix=kershaw+%2Csporting%2C350&rh=n%3A3375251%2Ck%3Akershaw+leek)
Different colors but all the same knife. It opens with one hand very easily and comes shaving sharp from the company.

I'm going to agree with Jmac on this; Kershaw ken onion leek's are nice knives for the money. I carry one and I love it. Compact, smooth assisted opening, and holds a nice edge.

Quick funny story:
My wife goes to a ladies prayer group Monday nights. One night one of the gals at the group asked my wife what that clip was in her left jean pocket. She reached into her pocket and with practiced movements she extracted her Kershaw Ken Onion and flicked it open.
All of the gals took a step back and the leader of the group asked, "Karen! Why are you carrying a knife?" My wife told the group that if someone attacked her they were going to leave with some serious wounds. And if you don't carry some protection you are just being a silly girl.
She folded the blade; put the knife back in her pocket.
Enough said. Great EDC knife :))
