Well now it appears that the Biden bribery sandal is coming to a head. Next Monday, July 31st, Devon Archer business partner of Hunter Biden, will testify before the House Oversight and Accountability Committee. He has missed three scheduled meetings in the past. These are the possibilities as I see them,
1) He testifies truthfully. Impeachment proceedings of President Biden go forward.
2) Between now and next Monday he will be Clintonized.
3) He is paid off to be silent. He does his time in prison (1-year) and comes out a wealthy man.
Sub #3, he does his time in prison thinking he will come out a wealthy man but is Epsteined while there.
4) He misses his date for the fourth time.
Your thoughts?

He testifies and nothing happens. No news coverage, swept under the rug on CNN and MSNBC.
Fox rants and raves about it but little develops going forward.
Come next term he does not run and the nomination goes to Newsome after deep far left woman/color/socialist battle makes all Ds look foolish.
All that (hoping like hell now) lets Rs take 60 seats in the Senate, 250 in the House and President DeSantis in the White House. Along with a total of 40 Governor seats.
This results in a Constitutional Convention that amends the 2A to read-- The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

In lockstep with Nemo until the election part.
That's where it all falls apart. Because so far as I know, nothing has been done to correct the "flaws" in election process and, in fact, may have gotten even worse.

Threatened.
In hiding.
Fears for his family's safety.
Maybe it would be a Wonderful Life if Mister Smith was back In Washington?

"Maybe it would be a Wonderful Life if Mister Smith was back In Washington?" Felix wrote. Personally, I think that Mr. Smith was a Communist.

I think the term is clintoncide :tinfoil: :cowboy:

Whoa! Jimmy Stewart a commie?
How about Frank Capra?
Using the darker side of middle/lower class Americans to tell a story of hope in struggle isn't necessarily "communist".
And Stewart put his life on the line, flying missions over Nazi Europe. (Not that it makes him committed to capitalism or anything).
Personally, I put both Capra and Stewart in the Norman Rockwell category. Possibly misplaced?
Toss out some clues.
Thanx :-)

Wow Felix, how do you feel about Stewart and Capra? :lmfao:
IMO, the character, Sen. Smith is a commie. Didn't he want the American people to pay for a "National Boys Camp". If the boys wanted a camp they should not rely .gov to fund it. ;)
Now with that all written, it is a good movie. Evil vs. good always sells.
-
Yes, it was a bit heavy on the FDR-style ideas.
hadn't considered that perhaps the good vs. evil appeal had a cargo of communism though. Wow!
Did Joe McCarthy and Jimmy Stewart ever cross swords that anyone knows of?
