Presidential Emergency Action Documents - The Biden Administration's Plan

During the Eisenhower's administration a series of Presidential Emergency Action Documents or PEAD, were instituted to combat a nuclear war exchange. In essence, there are a series of Executive Orders ready to roll if there is a crisis that allows the President to go around the US Legislative Branch of our government.

"Presidential Emergency Action Documents (PEADs) are draft classified executive orders, proclamations, and messages to Congress that are prepared for the President of the United States to exercise or expand powers in anticipation of a range of emergency hypothetical worst-case scenarios, so that they are ready to sign and put into effect the moment one of those scenarios comes to pass. They are defined by the Federal Emergency Management Agency as the "Final drafts of Presidential messages, proposed legislation proclamations, and other formal documents, including DOJ-issued cover sheets addressed to the President, to be issued in event of a Presidentially-declared national emergency." - PEAD

In my estimation, this is how our President will cancel the mid-terms. Implement Build, Back, Better or the Great Reset and take your guns away. Just declare a National Emergency and his administration has control of the country.

NO other branch of the government can stop him. Not the Legislative nor Judicial Branch. We are at the precipice of new USA. What will you do? How re you preparing?

I added an older vehicle to our fleet that does not have a cell chip or card in it. Can't be turned off or tracked by big brother.

I've always wondered where in the Constitution is specifically delineated a power for the President to declare a national emergency.  An insurrection? Sure. Washington did that with the Whiskey Rebellion.  But a "national emergency"?  I understand the reason it was started.  In a nuke war, congress doesn't have time to debate the merits of one action over the other. Ike could be trusted with that power, Reagan too. NONE of the other clowns.
But short of nuclear war, should any President be able to declare such a state without the consent of congress? To me it's just another abuse of the left's favorite excuse, the general welfare clause.

Regardless tho, I continue to do what I've been doing for years: buying a little extra at the grocery store and putting it back and looking for gridless means to do those activities of daily living- while enjoying the grid while its there.

The Contitution clearly states that only Congress has the power to declare War. However, The Whiskey rebellion was more like armed conflict against a criminal activity. Now, with that said, Thomas Jefferson had a real delema with the Pirates from Tripoli attacking our merchant ships in the Mediteranian Sea because he firmly believed that the Constitution had more power than he did. Anyway, he placed Marines on board US Merchant vessels to combat the Pirates even when he felt that he didn't really have the power to do so. Keep in mind, that the action was outside the borders of the US. Today, we call that a Police Action like the Korean Conflict was. We all know damn well that It was actually the Korean War since we threw everything we had at it. Viet Nam started out as a Police Action but as best I recall, the Congress eventually declared it a war. I'm getting too damned old to remember the details but I believe that Congress has since passed the War Powers Act and I can't rember exactly what the Hell it says. I think it says something about the President being allowed to start a war but the Congress must vote to approve it within a certain amount of time. Would somebody who knows more about it plaease straighten me out on this.
