FBI Stasi continues its march through America.

A well-known pro-life author, sidewalk counselor, and father of seven was the latest victim of a U.S. Department of Justice-sponsored SWAT raid and arrest ? for supposed ?FACE Act? violations ? at his rural home as his children looked on ?screaming.?

Mark Houck is the founder and president of The King?s Men, which promotes healing for victims of pornography addiction and promotes Christian virtues among men in the United States and Europe Ryan-Marie, who is a homeschool mother, explained the SWAT team of 25 to 30 FBI agents swarmed their property with around 15 vehicles at 7:05 a.m. this morning. Having quickly surrounded the house with rifles in firing position, ?they started pounding on the door and yelling for us to open it.?

Before opening the door, she explained, her husband tried to calm them, saying, ??Please, I?m going to open the door, but, please, my children are in the home. I have seven babies in the house.? But they just kept pounding and screaming,? she said.

When he opened the door, ?they had big, huge rifles pointed at Mark and pointed at me and kind of pointed throughout the house,? Ryan-Marie described?

The FBI was there because of Mark?s work against abortion.  Recently an abortion advocate and escort reportedly harassed his son at an abortion clinic and when Houck protected his son he was accused of harassing the escort.

?On several occasions when Mark went to sidewalk counsel last year, he took his eldest son, who was only 12 at the time, she explained. For ?weeks and weeks,? a ?pro-abortion protester? would speak to the boy saying ?crude ? inappropriate and disgusting things,? such as ?you?re dad?s a fag,? and other statements that were too vulgar for her to convey.

Repeatedly, Mark would tell this pro-abortion man that he did not have permission to speak to his son and please refrain from doing so. And ?he kept doing it and kind of came into [the son?s] personal space? obscenely ridiculing his father. At this point, ?Mark shoved him away from his child, and the guy fell back.?

Over at AP, NC Scout recently posted his thoughts on the failure in our "rule of law" and what that might portend.
What it _might_ "portend" (IMHO) is more Wacos, Ruby Ridges and a slew of non-reported Alamos scattered amongst those who believe in themselves and comport themselves as Patriots.    The idea that communities could cobble together their own "justice force" as a quasi-legal stop-gap (don't get caught being a "vigilante") is almost laughable in my estimation (not funny in any sense).    First, the Surveillance State has the wherewithal  to nip any/all in the bud.    Unless we adopt M.E. terrorist communication methods which are harder to surveil but subject to human compromise and a HUGE time deficit.
Nope.   We awake to find the wolf is not just already at the door, but whelping pups, and acting as if their overreach is untouchable.   As well it may be in the current conditions.
My advice (to self, the one who doesn't argue or ignore too much) is to continue with preps, awake to the smell or hope of coffee and thank God for the sun on our faces.
Oh.   And revisit the "Troubles".
A powerless, isolated cause acting against a very powerful, integrated force of considerable resources.
Sorry for the long read but will add, my views are formed in part by:  1st trip to the U.K.... Waco shown burning furiously on CNN monitors as we queued up to board for flight to London, departing from Phoenix.
Only days/week(s?) later, leaving the tube across from Harrods and hearing the most serious BOOOOM! mid-way across the street - last of the big IRA bombings in London - an explosive-filled "tipper" parked and detonated in front of a bank(?) one block away.
Yes.  There are many, many more of us than there are of "them".
But they are not stupid.
They have thought this through.
And the many, many cells of our body, scattered and insulated from each other, face a serious task of actualizing any organized action.

I have a very good friend and occasionally he contributes to UP. My guess he is in his late 30's early 40's. He did three tours over in the sandbox.

He thinks we currently are in Generation V warfare and it will not take much to move us to Gen IV or even Gen III. Bottom-line, he blames all the boomers for the situation we are in today. Through neglect, the boomers allowed the government to take more and more. The boomers mantra has always been, "wait till the next election". Then they vote in RINO's that do nothing and even worse, give away legislative powers to bureaucrats.

His nickname for me is "boomer". 

I tend to agree with his thoughts on this subject because we find ourselves where we are today through our disinterest. We vote, then walk away from the picture for two years, then refocus. We needed to keep an eye on our legislatures and if they do not do what we expect them to do, well then the citizens need to get in our legislatures face.

JM, I find your friend's perspective disingenious.  It's always easy to blame the previous generation for all your troubles. Every generation does it. And it's been that way ever since the Federal government disenfranchised the states, which was way, way ever before there ever was a boomer generation. Say what you will, but we lost the Republic after 1865.  It's just been a slow damn death.
I'm a boomer. I'm also an egalitarian and I've always fought as best I can against the way our government is. You do what you can- write letters, politic for decent people, prepare for when SHTF- but life has to go on. Bills have to get paid, kids raised, food put on the table, etc..  You can rail against the system, but unless you're hanging out in cave living a bushcrafting life, you're as much a part of it as anyone else. You can try to change it from without or from within, but, entropy, inertia and apathy are hard to beat. Your friend is IMO, copping out and seeking the easy way to assauge his angst.  He, and his generation, are just as responsible for the way things are as any boomer. I dont see 30 or 40 year olds marching in mass on DC. I dont see them abandoning the Republicans and Democrats to try something different. I see them paying bills, raising kids, and putting food on the table. I see them getting worn down by entropy, inertia and apathy. Just like us old boomers did.

Same things a Roman contended with "back in the day".   (debased currency always seems to find a seat at the table, right Yellen/Powell?)

Also a "Boomer" myself, I'm with RB - no interest in assigning "blame" relative to one group or another.

What really matters moving forward is not what we've lost but what we leave behind.   And surviving, being an enabler for other's survival is a good thing to leave behind.

The DOJ and its Stasi, the FBI and ATF are more focused on terror than justice.

If the Fed's wanted to arrest Mark Houck, they just needed to call him and ask him along with his lawyer to appear at their office.

More times more than once have I "shared" such and found an ear very hostile to the offering.    In fact, three old high school chums have quit responding to emails due to items "shared".   

How is it, _why is it_, that some people just shut down and shut out on factual news they don't like - when the factual part is indisputable?
And there seems to be so many people like this nowadays.
Increasingly, I feel as if I'm living in a madhouse where everything is being turned upside down.   Like it's me, painted by Edvard Munch in "The Scream".

The disconnects abound and occasion visits of self-doubt where sanity pastures with unicorns.

Felix, it is partly "normalcy bias" and part is that "they" are afraid because "they" know that the world is crumbling around them.

Think about it, not unlike the beginning of the Holocausts. As the Jews boarded the train they just thought good thoughts. The whole community told the Jews to go along with the evacuations. Where were the strong Jewish community with guns and said, "NO. I will not comply".

Similarly, President FDR, a progressive by the way, did the same to the Japanese. NOBODY said anything. This reminds me of Martin Niemoller's famous poem,

Just read an article the other day, that New York State is going to start FEMA camps for the illegal aliens coming into NYC. I wonder if the alien (s) have a choice of going or not going to the camp. Stay tuned.

Yes, I do agree fear is a big factor - and as it is revealed, so is the amount of cowardice towards life's "unpleasantries".   The Jews who boarded trains had plenty of critical thinking basis to have resisted with kitchen knives and bare hands instead of disrobing for showers.  I guess the "unthinkable" is exactly that for some people adverse to bad scenarios.

But as fellow Right Wing Extremists, may we share the bright spots as they pop up, possible reason for hope that we are not alone, the herd is waking up?
