You'll find out that most of the really good gardening or resilient community videos usually are done by the hippy types.  Just take the stuff that's good, and leave everything else.  That's they way I look at everything these days when it comes to prepping.  There is not right or left anymore.  Just what will help me out.

I think the hippie dippy types are going to be critical to community survival. I know that most of us don't understand the whole non violent "if i don't hurt anyone no one will hurt me" mentality. But if you think about it. Cultivating relationships with that community of people could pay off in the long run. Yeah they may not be great for community defence at first. If they can grow and teach others how to grow. It would be worth it to protect people with those skills in your community.

I consider anyone, who has a strong back ground in medicine, gardening/farming, ect to be a high value person in my AO.  I don't care what their political affiliations or thoughts are.

They certainly need to be defended.  They will help you survive if there is ever a coming collapse.  Also, make those relationships NOW in your AO, before the collapse. 

Ask your doctor questions like, what would you consider for payment if dollars became hyper inflated or worthless?  Barter?

Ask your neighbor, the gardener the same type things.  Ask if they'll let you come hang out and learn about gardening.

there's this other guy i'm subbed to webcajun. his channel is mostly farming with a few guns here and there and he recently told me I'm welcome to stop by his land. he's about 2 1/2 hrs from me. I think I'm gonna make the trip and try to learn something from this guy.
