Title: Contest time?

Hey Guys,

I have gotten some fantastic donations to the site lately and want to run another contest.

The problem is that I am short of ideas. For this contest we will be giving away multiple prizes so kindly donated by Kentactic, PatriotSeeker and myself.Unless anyone else wants to chime in with a donation  ;)

SO let me know what you guys want to see as a contest and we will pick the best idea and run with it.

I think a membership drive with the members recruiting new members and tracking them themselves, or as always a content contest.

I agree, but aren't we trying to create, improve and sustain a constant flow of prepper information to entertain, inform and retain those people once they arrive?

i dont know 505... if you do a contest to bring in more members you wont get quality long lasting members youll get random worthless members who probably wont contribute anything. the internet is the water... they have been led to it... if they wanna drink all they have to do is click around for answers.. we cant make them.

same kinda goes for content contests.. if its forced it isnt always that great of a turn out.

There will always be the "delete user account"  button for those situations. >:D

You could do a "Best Post of the Week," as decided by a group of mods. Could be based on humor, great info, or some other admirable feat on the board.
