Cheap tactical solutions
« on: December 31, 2011, 11:53:43 AM »
I was at a local Costco and saw a 3 pack of CREE LED flashlights. They were rockin the word "tactical" which I'm always skeptical of. I immediately looked at the price. 20 bucks. Mm-mm, must be cheapos. Regardless I bought them because i needed some extra flashlights around the house anyways. Holy sh*t. These cheapos, that I almost passed by, rocked 150 lumen's on 3 AAA's (a non exotic batt)!! They are approx. 3/4 of an in in diameter and could be easily mounted to a weapon system with an old scope ring. They feel relatively light in hand and on the gun. I'm gonna start keeping my eye out for these local, cheap tactical solutions in some of the more unexpected places......
