Pricey, but still could a useful item in a SHTF situation considering it can generate electricity from the stove's heat.

Found this in the latest issue of Popular Mechanics. Yeah, I still love my paper-based magazines.  :))

Lame, all that technology and it can't charge anything useful like AA's or AAA's for a flashlight, 2-way radio or gps....But hey, at least we'll get to listen to our favorite tunes when lost and alone in the dark.

Pretty old tech actually.  They used to sell one in the American Survival Guide back in the early 80s that had a AAA/AA/C and D cell charging station attached to it.
