There's currently not much we can do about the economic distress, other than what JM is saying about bringing back the barter system. I'm not going to give up my job or funding, but I am going to continue to buy local and buy American to put money in the pockets of those who work for it, cash if I can when buying from locals in case they need something to stash under the mattress where the guns used to be. I'm also going to work harder toward a sustainable life-style that will put me in the market to barter when possible. Even though it already was for many of you, the emphasis is on you and yours now, and the government's just back round noise- that is anytime but tax time. Especially with the recent epidemic of gun selling and what not, more than ever it's time to think chickens, cows, gardens, greenhouses, food dehydrators, solar panels, blacksmithing, etc...
It's only what we make of it now, I seceded mentally last week...
