Title: Any Tryvom Martin protests near your AO
Post by: JohnyMac on July 21, 2013, 01:14:36 PM
I have been reading a lot of stories (Up at the cabin-no TV) about TM protests and rally's around the country. Have any happened in your neck of the woods? If so, can you report on them?

I am of the opinion that not as many have taken place as the lame stream media claims because they just keep talking about three city's - New York, Atlanta and LA... Ad nauseam.

So I am trying to figure out if this whole TM "thing" is a fizzle and it will go away. If it doesn't the DOJ will probably bring charges against Zimmerman in the fall with the trial next spring. He will be acquitted again in the summer or early fall leading up to the 2014 mid-term elections. What a great way to get the vote out for Barry and his cronies.

Anyhow, you all are our eyes and ears out there so report in on what you are seeing.

No protests of any kind to report here. Everyone I've talked to is glad it's over.

No "protesters" here.  They would probably get shot. :gunner:

Nothing around here of any note. I think the race war Rush and company so wanted just isn't going to materialize. I mean, when they hype the new Black Panther Party as something actually relevant and with any sort of influence, it was all destined to fail. Oh well, maybe next time they* can manufacture some more false outrage.

I haven't seen any chimpouts. I imagine there were some in the big city that's close to me. I stay out of there for obvious reasons.

In Cincinnati we've had protest marches and Saint Trayvon rallies (of various degrees) pretty much every day since the verdict.  No riotous behavior to speak of... yet.

Thanks for the reports gents. I am hoping that the FL. boys check in.

Nothing from the NM members either. Maybe peyote is involved as the citizens are too stoned man.

Hey, has anybody spoken (Voice or written) with NOLA lately? He is certainly in the thick of things.

Frosty, I heard that some of the hockey players in your neck of the woods are holding rally's to get real beer at the games.

Can you say fizzle....

I saw one protest today JM.  It was while I was going down US 1 past Gifford.  Seven people on a street corner holding signs that said "I am Trayvon."   Other than that not too much.  Of course I haven't been through Ft. Pierce.  But there really hasn't been to much on the evening news.

"I am trayvon" isn't too smart.  Wasn't he shot and killed?  Just sayin'.

Just what I figured Sledge...Low interest even in the African American communities. I do wonder if it becomes the rallying cry not unlike the Tea Party between 2008 and 2010. Time will tell.

Again, went to my neighbors across the road at the BOL and the conversation was minimal on the TM  topic. Barry's speech concerning TM, was given a good round of discussion though. The general conscience there was, he seemed to add a few licks to the wedge that is separating us Americans.

Oh well...
