Memorial Day
« on: May 30, 2016, 09:06:32 AM »
On memorial day I find myself humbled to have know some that payed out  on the blank check they wrote to the military in defence of our nation.

Today I can ask questions about how thing's have been as they were and are.

Then I remember something that pushes all of the questions aside.

Don't get me wrong I am an avid hater of all things political.

Yet what I remembered was pure as the light from the halo of an Angel.

We and those that we pay homage to were and will be there for the Brother or Sister beside us.

We and those that we pay homage to were there to make the world a better place. To volunteer to serve in the capacity of trying to make the world a better place is a calling and gift that cannot be disparaged.

Today we forget the political crap. Today WE in the know, understand what it means to be blessed. We fully understand how small we feel. In the shadow of our Brothers and Sisters that paid the ultimate sacrifice. Yet   while this dynamic is in play. WE feel unrivalled and unprecedented gifted pride in being allowed to be in the presence of true heroes.

The uplift to our souls from this can never be matched by anything in this world.

Today is not a day of mourning. While that holds a solemn place in the meaning of this day.

There is something so much more. There is the Joyous remembrance of the light that our fallen have given ourselves and the world.

Have a good Memorial Day.

If you need a second magazine, its time to call in air support.

God created Man, Col. Sam Colt made him equal, John Moses Browning turned equality to perfection, Gaston Glock turned perfection into plastic fantastic junk.
