weapons and HilLIARY

So the rumors are true. What a couple of dirt bags.

Arms dealer says Clinton and Obama accidentally gave guns to ISIS, Al Qaeda and Benghazi attackers - then tried to scapegoat him for their screw-up with failed $10m felony case

Floki wrote, "... but are we surprised?" Nope!

No new news. Our current .gov on both sides of the aisle is so corrupt it isn't even funny.

This is the kind of thing that helps us to move even closer to the cliff before we jump into the chasm of CW II.

Many moons ago I wrote how we in America was moving towards a French Revolution type uprising. In perspective the French Revolution was based on different factions taking revenge on the noble and bourgeoisie class.

In essence if you take the time to understand the French Revolution it was in fact a Civil War between the peasants/surfs, the rising bourgeoisie class and the noble class.

This civil war would of happened regardless however the crop failures across Europe in 1788 along with the rumor of the Third estate being eliminated by the Aristocratic class was the accelerate needed for violence to come out, e.g. The storming of the Bastille in 1789.

Then as we know there was two years of violent revenge made against the aristocratic and some of the bourgeoisie class.

Now if there is a civil war what form would it take? Would it be similar to the American Revolution, American Civil War 1860-65 or will it be similar to the French Revolution/Civil War?

I think the clue of what is coming our way is in the history France, 1780-1799.

Just some thought...Could the crash of the stock market be our food famine? Or Russia, Iran, N. Korea, China be that accelerate here?

I see the U.S. devolving into balkanized regions, rather than a civil war.  There's no question that it'll be a turbulent period.  But there's so many unhappy factions that I don't see the country splitting into just two parts.  You've got the liberals, conservatives, urbanites, the BLM folks, etc., and each group is going to want their own turf.  It's going to be a question if each group can actually retain physical possession of their individual territories.

Ugh.  Why must she be our only real alternative to the Tangerine Menace?

I don't know that we'll break up just yet.  There are too many ideologies at play here.  While that's an interesting concept, Jackalope, I think in a time of globalization and high-speed communication and commerce, I really think that if a civil war came it'd be an all-or-nothing.  Unless of course it took decades to win and groups split off based on wins and losses and such.

I think that, as frustrating as many of these issues are, most of us still think of ourselves as Americans first, and fill-in-the-blank second.  There is also a lot of overlap.  The middle class and the poor - and there's  almost as vast a divide between those two groups as there is between both groups and the oligarchy - both span most of the littler groups like evangelicals, liberals, etc. At this point there's nothing unifying enough to split groups into two or even three major camps.

I don't doubt that a civil war could happen, but right now not even this ugly, divisive election would unite enough people to start so much as a civil skirmish, much less a war.

If my memory serves me correctly, only 3% of the American citizens were actively in the field fighting the British during the American Revolution.

I think that there are a host of people on both sides who want a Civil War of some sort. We are reliving the 1850's leading up to CW II.

So what will come first Civil War or WWIII. Maybe like China in 1938(9)-1945 both at the same time.

IMHO, it looks like WW III will touch off first, seeing the way Obammy is handling foreign relations.  If it goes nuclear, then anything can happen afterwards...good luck to all of us.

if the US of A and/or the EU start sputtering out with China, India growing fast, a war could break out due to the power vacuum.
so,
CWII leads to disruption of world politics and bad actors take advantage of the opportunity.
or
a brushfire conflict leads to regional then global war and internal US of A angst then leads to a CW.
-
I'm not sure anyone but historians will care which one came first.

Thx Kbop I forgot all about India and Pakistan. I read somewhere that tensions are at the highest level between the two countries in decades.

I agree with Jackalope when he writs, "IMHO, it looks like WW III will touch off first, seeing the way Obammy is handling foreign relations."

I have been debating getting a galvanized trash can. Lining it with cardboard and storing my electronics in it when not being used for the next 6 months. I will attach the ham radios ground wire to the trash can for extra protection.

<off topic>  JM, use the coated type antistatic bags for each piece of equipment.  Now line the inside with a space blanket that will fold over the top when you put the lid on.  then seal the lid/can gap with metallic tape <Al is fine you don't need the spendy copper stuff>.

Sorry to ask you to do this but I am confused Kbop. So all of us are on the same page would you be so kind to write up directions using a galvanized trash can as the container?

I thought a tight fitting lid and a cardboard liner would be good enough. Then post under the heading of Faraday Cage. I will sticky it then.

Thanks man.
