I just wanted to introduce myself, I'm from Argentina. I found the board by TheHoss shoutout, I also was member of LnL board, but almost never posted there.
I've been prepping for a year, but I always liked guns, small unit tactics, survival and whatnot.

I would love to be able to have an AR or AK but in here civilians can't have anything bigger than a .22 with a detachable mag... It sucks, so my primary is a 12 gauge Maverick, the same that a Mossy 500 but the trigger group is plastic.

I think thats the way weapons banning starts, stupid limits and overpricing, I paid my G19 $1100, that's like 2 month salary of a store clerk.
Thats why I'm started reloading, ammo prices increase constantly, even more now that our inflation is 22% approximately.

Ok, I don't know what else to say, the board is looking real good and there is a lot of excellent info, so its great to be here.

look man, do what you can. it sucks that your gun situation is so shitty, but at least you have SOMETHING. a 12 gauge is a hell of alot better than a baseball bat... even if the trigger group is plastic..

I hope you enjoy it here, and hey! think about it, you could always migrate over here as long as you do it legally. we already have one foreign member, Luis, that came to the U.S. legally from Mexico. we need all the level-headed people as we can get!

You are in a unique position to share your perspective of the economic collapse that we are all experiencing. A sudden and large price difference in your country could and will most likely effect the US as well. A Massive flood political scandal. Its all interesting so don't hesitate to post it.

Welcome!  Any information, experience, or knowledge of your countries financial collapse would be really amazing.

Any personal experiences, such as conceal carry, open carry in public?  Pistol carry ok in public?  Shotgun or rifle carry accepted in public?  Or it just just like FerFal said?  Concealed carry of pistols only?

How is the violence down there where you are?

What is day to day life like for you down there?

How is commerce down there?  Any bartering going on or allowed?  How hard is it to stay ahead of the 22 percent inflation when paying for things in cash?  Are you just constantly poor down there?

Funny thing is that I never studied english in an academy, just read a lot since I was a child and also I work on IT so I have daily contact with US guys.

Nola556, thanks for the invite, I would love to visit the US sometime, but I think I have to fight the good fight here

Argentinian situation at the moment is pretty fucked up and almost no one seems to notice it, we have a populist regime that is crushing whats left of the country,
I promise you guys today I'll create a new thread about  the inflation, guns, bartering etc and we can discuss the issue with more detail.
